If you are serious about white-tailed deer, Greene County, Pennsylvania has some of the best deer hunting around, and Cole’s Greene Acres Farm has 800+ acres of private land for your use. Maybe you aren’t as serious about the big game hunt, but would still like to get out into the woods and relax, we have some great turkey and squirrel hunting available as well. How about just some target practice? We offer a shooting range with various targets going out to 300 yards from the shooting shack. Check it all out, then request a quote today.

Deanna Cole is The Log Cabin Quilter. She has spent many hours learning surface pattern design and the tools needed to create beautiful fabrics and quilted products. She enjoys dying her own fabrics with items found in nature, such as golden rod, walnuts, or greens from the garden, or whatever she is able to forage at that time. Hosted Events on the farm
At Cole’s Greene Acres Farm we love meeting new people and enjoying time with old friends. Every so often we host an event on the farm, maybe a fall festival chicken or pig roast with fresh apple cider being pressed or maybe a Friday night dinner, dance, & a bonfire with a live band. We never know what we’ll be getting into, so be sure to check back often.
Hikers on the trail
Hiking Trails & Primitive Camping
Go take a hike! We have 15+ miles of marked & mapped hiking trails, both loop & point to point. Enjoy a walk through the meadows and woods, bird watch, or hike in to the fishing pond to catch a few bass.
There are several primitive campsites, with fire rings, and two sites with lean to shelters (coming during the 2022 season). There are a few locations to gather potable water as well as springs and creeks where you can filter water.
We use the AllTrails app to mark out our trails and locate points of interest. We highly recommend you utilize this app and use the “download map for offline navigation” feature. There is very limited cellular service on the farm.
